No one can make me feel so good.

Facts:

- it's 3.37 p.m.
- 67°F / 19°C

It's getting really cold this week, how you can see. It's the freaking cold front.
But this weather maybe prepares me for the german winter, next year. Weird, what I'm afraid of. ;D
I'm so sorry for all my reader, who had to wait for some news.
Let's go back to the start.

Jordy Coe was the past weekend here and it was so good to spend time with her again. She's such a good person. We didn't see her for a month and so Sydney was really touched as she walked in the house.
Jordy made some cupcakes (for me. Jk, but I think I ate the most. ;D).
They were delicious!

We had a lot of fun this past weekend. Sydney, Jordy and me went to walmart, to buy all the stuff for her cupcakes and Syd and me were to Ellen's halloween party invited and we didn't really knew as what we want to dress up.
So we messed a bit.

Jordy told us we look really pretty.
But we decided to be 80's girls.
We met a lot of people at the and Syd and me were really sad as we left the party early, because of her softball game next morning.
Did I already told you that 1/5 of my time here is over? The time went by so fast, but Syd and me decided that I gonna take the citizenship test in my last months, so I can come and stay how often and long I want. I talked to my mom about it and this little, kinda crazy idea gets real.
Of course do I've to make some researches and if it's possible for me as a 16year old (or 17) without any income. But we'll see and I'll tell you next time.
(I hope I'll make it earlier this time.)

What else can I tell you?
Right, I'm going to mexico in january for 4 days with Sydney and some other exchange students and parents. We are so excited. It's four days and we'll be without our family (with other girls and a mom in a cabine, but whatever. ;) ) and with a lot of friends.

Back to the halloween party, it was a lot of fun. I met Ben again and some other german exchange students and I really like texas. :D

I look kinda weird, but idc, because I've the time of my life here. :)
Let's talk a bit about school.
I really like my school and the people. Even if I've tons of homework, but I think/hope this will prepare me for germany, because I really start to leran and do homework.
I never really did anything for school in germany, because I don't really needed to, but I think the next year will gonna be hard enough for me, so maybe this will help me.
Oh and I try to play soccer in my 7th period. I hope I can do it and the coach let me come into her period. Gosh, that would be awesome.
So press your thumbs for me. ;-)

I saw Sydney play ball the last week (btw, she's really good!) and I really enjoy to go to her games and see her play. And I can concentrate soo goood. I use to do my homework during her games and it turns out really good.
Jordy and me at Syd's softball game.

This was her 2nd game. We both look kinda retarded and the sun shines in our faces, but whatever. :D
So, Sydney and me decided to work out every day, because we go on this cruise to mexico and we've to be in perfect shape (ehhhhm. I'm definitely NOT in a good shape. And I gained some weight. :/ But I'm about to lose all this before january.).
Hey, I could tell you my work out, but I think that is kinda boring, but I'm so proud of myself that I learned how to run. I mean that I'm disciplined enough to run.
I wasn't in germany.
Now I'm able to run 2 straight miles, ride the bike for 5 miles (that the way to Bechtsbüttel. I mean I've to stay in shape, because when I come back I've to ride the bike for 5 miles one way. ;D), run another mile, do excercies for my arms, stomach and all the stuff and at last I go in a seperate room and strech a bit and do some ballet, to stay in shape. ;)
Yeah, and I hope that if I do that every day I'll lose all the mexican/texas food and be able to run 3 miles, than 4 aso.
We'll see. I mean, you'll hear. I'll probably be so proud of myself that I blog an extra post. :D
I'm just kidding. But I'll tell you.

Syd's and my eyes look at the 2nd picture exactly the same. :) (Because we're alike. ;D)
Yeah, these pictures are before and after our work out.

Last weekend Syd and me carved a pumpkin and I asked what the different between a pumpkin and a squash is. I mean you call the orange one pumpkin, but what's the difference? I don't really know, and Sydney either.
It turned out soo cute. From now the pumpkin is in our front yard and we can see him every morning and afternoon. ;D He's really cute :)
Halloween is really big in america, everyone is looking for a cute costume and buy candy and go to honored house (It's scary, and Syd is too scared for it. It's like house, you go in and there are artist in a scary costume and they follow you around.).
Honored house is really cool. I mean it sounds cool, Marina told me there is one in Houston and if you stay all the 16 stories you get your money back, but no one did it. For example in one storie are snakes all over the floor and they took their theeth out, so they can't kill you, because they've really bad poison in their theeth. And you've to go through, but they still "bite" you aso.
It's scary and crazy. But that's america.
In germany they probably won't even get a license. :D

(check out: sugarland - stuck like glue)
Texas is still awesome. :)

take your life from negative to positive

Facts:

- it's 6.51 p.m.
- 82.0°F / 27.2°C

I think it's time to write a little up date (ok, everyone knows that this won't be short, but whatever. ;D)
At first I wanna show you my new teen-language (LOL [see, I get american] )
So, here we go:

- jk (just kidding)
- tbh (to be honest)
- idk (I don't know)
- idc (I don't care)
- yall (you all [it's a texas-thing] )
- qt (quiet)
- btw (by the way)
- lmfao ( laughing my f***ing ass off [can be without "f"] )

Yeah,
so I start learning acronyms. :D Today a dude in my french class told me I sound american now. :) Isn't that awesome? And after his statement the kids around me agreed.
I'm sooo proud.

Haaa, some much time and homecoming went by, since my last post.
I finally met the french guy "Paul", because we had an interview
(You know what comes in my mind: Kaitlyn told me, that german kids can't say what with a "w", it ever sounds like a "v" and she's right. We speak our "w" like a "v". I've never realized that. So, and since this day we ever say vhaaat in the beginning of maths [we've maths together]. Yeah, that make my day ;D )
okay, back to my actual story:
I met the french guy, because we had an interview, for the Lp newspaper, together. Yeah, and it's true:
french guys are famous! Dude, you won't believe me what I tell you now:
We went to the newspaper class
(oh yeah, we've a class for this. And you spend the whole class to write [or not, in this case ;D] the newspaper. Pretty nice class.)
together and we met a group of girls on the way.
Now guess which name the crowd yelled?
Oh yes, it was Paul's.
They love his accent. I mean, it's cute, but wooow. He is famous.
Yeah, so we finally met and on friday ( homecoming game [we won] ) I saw him again and he came to me and we talked and he didn't go to homecoming, because he had no date.
I was a bit depressed, because I was thinking about to ask him, because it would be kinda funny if the two exchange students go together to homecoming.
But I think we are kinda friends now. :)

I showed her and now it's a joke between us ;D

This was before / during the homecoming game.
On the last picture you can see Marina and Brandon. Both are soooo nice and I really like them, they are in my yearbook class.
And we ( + Gabby ) have so much fun in this class and during lunch. ;D
Oh, s.t. cross my mind ( look it up at leo.org ;D any day I'll be smart enough to know this stuff. LOL ) Gabby and Marina asked me aome time ago if and what I learned here, like english.
And I really have to say that I learned a lot of stuff ( like stuff. ;) you say stuff instead shit. :D ) and, how the guy in my french class told me: I start sounding like an american. ;)

Pretty face (just saying :D)

This was during yearbook (yes, we are bored sometimes :D ).
Okay, so now I gonna show you some homecoming pictures, but it's a bad quality, because the main computer isn't working and so we can't upload the pictures from the deluxe (sorry, I've to say this to check if Linh is reading my blog ;D) camera and so you just see some phone pictures. ;)

and I think the (til now) most pretty picture is this:

Osiris (she's in my dance class and such a nice person!) and me
Yeah, Osiris is in my dance class and she is so nice. She told me, if I don't go to prom (like, if the school don't invite me, because I'm a junior) than she'll take me, because I have to be there.
And she wanna write me letters, when I'm back in germany (this will hopefully take some time). Isn't that sweet?

So, homecoming was ok, a bit awkward, because some girls should better stopped dancing (it was kinda ... like a whore, but a oversized...). But whatever, it was a good experience.

What else can I tell you? I really like my school, I know some more people and almost everybody is nice to me. :)
Haha, I've to tell you something. Some days ago Mr. Shoppe, our principal (he make the announcements everyday in 3rd period) was making his announcement and after the main stuff and honor american / texas flag (oh yes, everyday!) and the moment of silence (like a "Schweigeminute") he said some really funny stuff.
Ok, are you ready for his announcement?
"Goooooooooooooooood morning LaPorte highschool, please rise and honor the flag [...] and now the texas flag [...] and now a moment of silence [...].
Thank you!
So, today, october the 5th is (bla, bla, bla). And I also wanna say that some students are kissing in the hallways and I can't respect this. Imagine a visitor comes into our school and has to see that. What can he think about our school?
So please understand that kissing in the hallways aren't allowed and our security will stop this. Thank you all students. [...]"
Exactly, this is ridiculous. But whatever. :D
I can laugh about this.

Yes, Steven loves school, too. ;)
