We're worth it!

Facts:

- it's 7.39 p.m.

- 54°F / 12°C

Well it's been a while since I last posted (and guess what, a lot happend).
I'll try to tell yall everything.
We had another game. I love my team, even if I don't look forward to every single practice, but I always enjoy being with the girls and play some soccer together.
All these girls are so nice, and fun. We've a lot fun. I think joining the soccer team, and actually make the team, was a wonderful experience. They make my life so much better, and when I walk through the hallways there is always someone who yells germany and waves with a cute smile at me.
I met so many awesome people, and I already can't leave them.

And the next day/night went even better. Sydneys long-time-friend asked me to go with him to the football banquet.
Football banquet is an event that takes place after football season ends, and all the players are coming together for one night (Sophomore, JV and Varsity team) to eat together, give away awards and talk about the past season. And every guy can bring a date.
Well I'm still so thankful for having had the chance to experience that, because it's not just so american nor because I could meet all these football guys, just because I got to meet Sydneys friend Chase.

I've to say I freaking love this picture.

Yeah, so I met Chase. :) And btw, just for the ones who wanna know; he doesn't just play football, he plays baseball, too. I love baseball, for these who wanna know.

I don't want to be concidered as boring, but I have the feeling I don't say it enough; I love my life, and I couldn't ask for more. I don't want to change anything and I am so thankful for everyone who made this possible and is a part of this. I feel like I found what everyone was talking about, because I know that I belong here, and that I'm lucky.
And to realize that is probably the most amazing thing. I don't want yall to think that I don't have any problems or moments of doubt, but having this and remind myself to have this always brigthens my day.

Well we had a YFU orientation in january and Sydney and me went to that. It wasn't really useful for me, because the whole point is to talk about issues you have with your family, school, or anything else. And how yall most likely already know is there nothing I need help with.
My only problem is that I'm running out of time.

When I look back at the past month I realize I experienced so much new, and I attended my first wedding. Kaitlyns (she's a good friend) sister got married, and the Coe's were invited. What can I say? The bride looked pretty, but we left early (american drama, you know?).

Sooo, I'm finally a little known in my school. lol.
A very good football player told Heather (a friend) that my accent is cute. I was laughing, because I have never talked to this kid before. But I did now, he's nice. Our conversation was like this:
He: Hey, I'm in love with your accent.
Me: Thanks.
He: Omg, thats so hot.
Me: Well thanks. But tbh, I already knew that you like my accent.
He: How?
Me: My friend Heather told me.
He: Hanson? Oh. Well, it's cute:
Me: Thanks. You can record me, if you want to and listen to it all day long. lol.
He started laughing.
Me: I wasn't joking, why is everyone always laughing when I say something? I'm being serious.
And Vanessa (she's playing soccer) was in the back of my classroom and started laughing.

Oh and the other day I met Demetries, he's playing soccer and I sat in the field house and we were joking around. My team mates were calling me germany and he asked me why they call me germany and I told him that I'm from germany, thats why I talk so weird.
And guess what he said.
He said that he thought I'm american, and I don't talk weird. He said I'm talking like I'm from texas. Man, yall can't believe how happy I was. It made my day.

It's not like Marina and me were bored when Syd had to use the restroom, and took like 24 random pictures. Noooo. Yall think completly wrong.
Haha, I love this girl. She's so much fun to be around. We've 5th period and lunch together. And after lunch I bring her to her classroom (our little every-day-date, you know?), because it's in the same hallway.
She was one of these I hung out with from the beginning, and I'm thankful to have her, because she's AMAZING. Juuust saying, guys.

Oh and the past weekend I saw our school musical. It was pretty good, but I'm glad I wasn't in it, because you've to invest so much time I don't have. Because soccer season just started,....

Well, let's say it with my principals words: Make it a great day or not; The choice is yours!
